Things on my mind this Sunday morning . . .

Women – how we carry ourselves and self-respect — whether men respect us and how some men don’t or are not capable of respecting women. They can be too self-centered, egotistical, think in terms of power and conquest. Or they do not understand some of the self-deprecating acts women do or how they disrespect their own bodies, minds and spirits. Or perhaps the women are needy, wanting to fix a man, smother a man with love.

There are men that take advantage of this and see it as an opportunity for gratification. Or some men tirelessly love these women, care for them. Some men get hurt by the some of these women, some men and women embrace their mutual love and respect. Sometimes there is crazy infatuation.

Some men and women are more independent , aware of the desires of the sexes – not just sexual gratification, but the material, social, security, spiritual or inner worth and offer friendship or types of kindness that offer respect, boundaries, some humour, encouragement, honesty, acceptance of self and others.
